Questions we were afraid to ask as ‘baby queers’ // Episode 7
Sunday Oct 02, 2022
Sunday Oct 02, 2022
Coming into one’s identity can be a process for some and for others it is instantaneous. As ‘baby gays’ or in this case ‘baby queers’ we had so many questions and it wasn’t always easy to ask them or even to find the answers. How do you let them know you are interested? Am I gay for real? Do I really need to come out? Join us as we reflect on that part of our journey. (PS. we get really candid in this conversation.)

QUEER•LY is really about doing life in community.
We are Mary and Jenny.
Join us as we take you through the journey of coming out in our 30s. We'll laugh, we'll cry, and we'll celebrate our joys as we navigate our newfound identities.
Even if it has really been great to see LGBTQIA+ representation grow in the media and all around us, there's always room for MORE! As Queer People of Color, we are here to share our experiences and add our voices to the narrative.
Jenny is Vietnamese-American and Mary is all the way from Uganda. We are worlds apart, but the universe has brought us together through our shared love for Community.
We are queer and we are here to take up space.
Love y'all!
